wish I could just stop by and lay by your side | 0 Comments

WwSD9.pngSo I never really gave One Tree Hill a chance. I was obsessed with The OC and really didn’t feel like I could get into another show when I originally tried to watch it. Not to mention the OC got cancelled after four short seasons and I could never understand why it was that One Tree Hill kept getting renewed season after season. If it were not for Netflix I don’t know if I would have never given One Tree Hill a change again, but when Netflix added it I decided maybe it was time I actually sit down and try to see what all the fuss was about. I have to say I am very glad I did. There is so much more to this show than just the petty high school drama that usually surrounds a show like this. The fact that Lucas was never wanted by his father, and then his brother is enough to keep anyone interested, but then when you throw in all the other emotional turmoil that all of the other characters experience on a day to day basis its very intriguing.

I really fell in love with the characters before I actually like the show. The characters are so well developed that you feel like you have known them for years instead of just starting the show. There is a clear villain, Dan, and the rest of the characters I find myself finding similarities with myself in. I really cannot wait to see how the characters develop as they grow older. I am currently in the middle of the second season and I keep catching myself looking the show up on Wikipedia so that I can find out whats going to happen next! It’s an awful habit. I read about whats going to happen and I just can’t wait t see it all play out on screen. The cool thing is that the show is still airing so I cannot wait to find out how the whole thing ends. Is anyone else liking/watching this show?

Such a beautiful melody
That leads to a horrific demise

The sugar coated harmony
That creates a monster about to strike

The sweetened tone
That makes a deep sound of despair

A frosted feeling of excitement
That makes death seem like a gift

A candy covered lyric
Creates a second of mutiny that dwells within

A stunning note
That grinds into your soul

The epic beats
Slaughter the music
Since it just got in the way

You take me
Into your arms

Promise everything will
Be all right

It is an effortless feeling
Between you and me

I can’t help but
To reach out

To claim you
As my own

I would quit reality
Stop all time

To stay here
As long as you will have me

No longer awkward
It never really was

We have no choice
But to agree

I couldn’t
Ask for anything
More

Okay so maybe this isn’t exactly how I pictured things, but I guess it will have to do. I’m stuck in this god for saken lunch room with people I cannot stand.

The leaves change but still my thoughts remain the same. Ever just stopped for a second and looked around you? Fall is a magical time. Things change so quickly that if you blink you may miss them. I think this is one of the reasons that fall is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the magic, the mystery. I love the bunches of raked leaves and the scarecrows. I love the apple cider and the sweatshirts. I think fall is great.

Life is hectic. School is aggrevating, complicated, and time consuming. Sometimes I just want to ignore it all and go about doing whatever I want, but I know I can’t. I think it’s funny that there’s people paying all of this money to go to these little Junior Colleges and they think that it means that they are decent college graduates. They don’t even know the meaning of college. Yeah it may be hard for them, but it’s nothing like going to an “actual” college. It just makes me laugh. They have no idea what the real world is like. No idea at all.
